Nancy has worked in physical rehabilitation since 2003. She received her Physical Therapy Assistant degree from Pueblo Community College in 2005, and joined Joint Effort in 2007. Outside of the clinic, she specializes in hippotherapy (physical therapy using a horse), and volunteers at a not for profit organization here in Colorado Springs. In her free time she enjoys reading and biking with her husband. |

Carol graduated from the University of Colorado in 1972 with a BA in English, and obtained her teaching license in 1973. She later earned her MA in Teaching from Colorado College and taught in School District 11 for 31 years before retiring. In 2007, she came to work for Joint Effort Rehab. She enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, son-in-law, and two grandsons. In addition, she reads, crochets, goes to the gym, and plays her sax. Belle, her dog, also demands regular walks. |

Heidi completed her undergraduate degree in Communication Arts and Sciences at Michigan State University in 1993 and her masters degree in Communication Disorders from Case Western Reserve University in 1995. Heidi moved to Colorado Springs in 1996 and has been practicing here ever since. She has abundant experience working in hospital and clinic based services with adolescent to adult clients experiencing a wide variety of cognitive, dysphagia, voice, speech/language and communication disorders. |

Darcie moved from California to Colorado in the fall of 1996 and greatly enjoys her quality of life here. She has worked in the medical field for 18 years. She spends her free time fishing, exploring Colorado, and hanging out with her husband of 30 years. She also keeps busy with her 3-year-old grandson as often as possible. |

Debbie graduated from Loma Linda University in 1993 with a Masters of Physical Therapy and has practiced in Colorado Springs since then. She maintains an expertise in orthopedics, specializing in manual therapy for the spine and extremities. Debbie enjoys spending time with her family, as well as skiing and scuba diving. |

Kevin graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 1993 where he received his Physical Therapy degree and National Certification in Athletic Training. Kevin has been practicing in Colorado Springs for over 15 years and recently became full owner of the practice. His extensive experience in manual therapy, vestibular rehabilitation, trigger point dry needling, and athletic training provides his patients with comprehensive, complete care. Kevin enjoys playing basketball, baseball and skiing with his family. |

Originally from Delaware, Joyce arrived in Colorado Springs in 1975 courtesy of the USAF. She has been a licensed Massage Therapist since 1985 with a focus in sports and rehab. When not working, she divides her time between dance, musical theatre, bicycling, and hiking with her husband and their dogs. |

Kristy graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina in 1986 and, thanks to being married to a military guy, she has had the opportunity to expand her skills as they moved from one exciting place to another. She, her husband, 4 daughters, and 2 dogs now happily call Colorado “home” and could not be happier about that! She truly enjoys working with all ages, with both orthopedic and neurological issues, and is especially enthusiastic about being able to offer all of the benefits of Kinesio Taping. Most of all, she prides herself in making therapy FUN! |

Doug is one of the founders of Joint Effort Rehab. He is a 1979 graduate of Wichita State University and has been practicing in Colorado Springs since 1983. Doug maintains expertise in treating the cervical spine, upper back, shoulder and lower extremity disorders. Doug spends his free time with his family and enjoys skiing. |

Jane graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in Business Administration. She helped establish Joint Effort Rehab in 1999 and has been working in physical therapy as a finance and accounting manager since 1987. When Jane is not working, she spends time with her family and enjoys reading. |

Evan has lived in Colorado Springs for almost 8 years and recently started working with Joint Effort. He will graduate in January with plans for continued schooling to follow. He greatly enjoys working with our more mature patients, mostly because they share his love of older model cars. He spends his free time in mixed martial arts and various outdoor activities with his family. |

Tamara graduated from the Community College of Southern Nevada in 1998. She joined the Joint Effort team in 2007. Tamara enjoys working with a variety of people with an emphasis on soft tissue massage and cervical spine disorders. In her spare time, Tamara enjoys volunteer work, hiking, and kayaking with her family. |

Mary graduated from Regis University in 2000 with a Master's degree in physical therapy. She worked in an outpatient manual physical therapy clinic in Denver for nine years before joining the team at Joint Effort. She has extensive experience working with foot and ankle diagnoses and has a special interest in lower extremity biomechanics. Mary is currently pursuing a manual therapy certification through the International Academy of Orthopedics as well as certification in dry needling. She enjoys spending time with her family experiencing all the outdoor fun Colorado has to offer! |

Melissa graduated from the University of North Carolina in 1996. After moving to Colorado Springs in 1999, she began working in marketing, grantwriting, and community development for a large nonprofit agency. She joined the Joint Effort team in June 2007. Melissa enjoys camping, volunteering, skiing, golfing and hiking with her husband and two children. |

Molly graduated from Regis University in 2002 with a Masters degree in Physical Therapy. She returned to Regis and completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2008. Molly is credentialed as a Certified Clinical Instructor through the APTA and enjoys mentoring students. Molly maintains expertise in treating shoulder, spine and lower extremity disorders. In her spare time, Molly enjoys spending time with her husband, reading, hiking, snowboarding, and back-country camping. |

Connie graduated business college in 1985 and has been working in medical billing for the past 17 years. Connie joined the Joint Effort team in 2002 and has been responsible for the billing department. When Connie is not at the office, you can find her spending time with her husband and 2 sons, camping, hiking, skiing and gardening. |

Sharon recently moved to Colorado Springs to be closer to her family. She has joined the team at our South location and especially appreciates the comfortable, family-like atmosphere. She graduated from Westchester University and later from Sanford Brown University. She comes to us with extensive experience in orthopedics with a special interest in Pilates and Corrective Exercise techniques. She greatly enjoys reading, but her dog, Jack, keeps her busy hiking and biking! |

Riley recently moved to Colorado Springs from the Southeastern Plains of Colorado near Lamar. He graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science with an emphasis in Athletic Training. He enjoys spending time with his family and utilizes his free time to bike as much as possible. |
